Camping 101 Booklet

I began my process by researching and sketching out different layout ideas for the cover and a spread. I created several versions, but cut them down to my top two favorite layouts. After making a few edits, I chose my final design and began adding additional pages. I varied the layouts on each spread so that they weren’t identical, yet were still consistent.

After the layouts were done, I began researching stock images and ideas for content. I started off with just placeholder images then updated them to be relevant to each page’s content. Initially, I was going to pull content from different sources and cite them accordingly. Most of the content throughout the booklet I created myself, but the pieces that weren’t my own are cited.
